Terms of Use of the Tabu Application for Business Users
Effective Date: 11.9.2026.
These Terms of Use (hereinafter: Terms) are issued by the company Transparentići d.o.o., headquartered in Zagreb, Ulica Filipa Vukasovića 1, OIB: 99456386807 (hereinafter: Transparentići, we or our, as applicable), as the service provider and owner of the Tabu platform software tool.
The Terms govern the use of the Tabu application for business users available at https://business.tabu.hr (hereinafter: Application), a web application through which business users view aggregated market salary data and the reports the Tabu platform prepares on the basis of that data.
The Terms apply to every natural person who signs in to the Application (hereinafter: User). By signing in to the Application, the User confirms that they have read, understood and accept the Terms.
Access to the Application exists because the User's employer (hereinafter: Client) has concluded a Licence Agreement with Transparentići under which the Client has been granted the right to use the Tabu platform. These Terms supplement that agreement and govern the User's personal use of the Application.
In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Licence Agreement concluded with the Client, the Licence Agreement prevails.
Only a person whom the Client has added as a member of its organisation can sign in to the Application; the Application does not create new users. The account is linked to the User's business email address, and sign-in is performed with a Google or Microsoft account or with a one-time code sent to that email address.
The account is personal and may not be shared with other persons or transferred to third parties. The User must protect access to their email address and Google or Microsoft account and must notify Transparentići or the Client without delay if they suspect unauthorised use of their account.
Memberships in the organisation are managed by the Client through an authorised person (administrator). Access to the Application ends when the Client removes the User from its organisation, when the User's employment with the Client ends, or when the Licence Agreement ends, whichever occurs first.
The User may use the Application solely for the Client's internal business needs, within the scope and for the purposes for which the Licence Agreement was concluded.
The data, reports and other content available in the Application are confidential data of Transparentići. The User may not, in whole or in part:
Exporting data from the Application (for example in XLSX or CSV format) is intended solely for the Client's internal needs. Exported data is subject to the same restrictions as data within the Application.
The User must follow the instructions and notices of Transparentići regarding the use of the Application.
The User's personal data that we process upon sign-in and during use of the Application is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, in particular section 3.10.
Data about the Client's employees that the Client enters into the Application is processed by Transparentići solely on behalf of and according to the instructions of the Client as the data controller, on the basis of a data processing agreement concluded with the Client in accordance with Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Transparentići does not use that data for any other purpose, and in particular not for the purpose of recruiting the Client's employees.
The Tabu platform, including the Application, all of its parts, corrections, upgrades, reports, user instructions and the data it contains, is the intellectual property of Transparentići.
The User and the Client are granted only the right to use the Application within the scope of the Licence Agreement and these Terms. This is a licence, not a sale. All rights not expressly granted belong to Transparentići.
Market data that Transparentići collects and displays in the Application, other than data entered by the Client itself, is the property of Transparentići.
Transparentići maintains and updates the Application to ensure its proper functioning and availability, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Application may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades or circumstances beyond our control.
Transparentići reserves the right to amend the content and scope of the reports and the functionality of the Application and will promptly inform the Client of such changes. If a change causes a loss of information for the Client, notice is given at least 8 working days before the change is published.
We respond to inquiries regarding the use of the Application within 7 working days of receipt. Inquiries are to be sent to the email address referred to in section 9 of these Terms.
Transparentići is responsible for the correctness of the reports generated in the Application in terms of their mathematical and statistical calculations and displays, provided that the data on which the calculations are based has been correctly entered into the Tabu platform.
The market data in the Application is aggregated data collected from users of the Tabu platform and serves as an informational basis for the Client's business decisions. Decisions made by the User or the Client on the basis of that data are their sole responsibility.
The User uses the Application at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Transparentići is not liable for indirect damage or loss of profit arising from the use of or inability to use the Application.
Transparentići may amend these Terms. We will inform the Client of material changes, and the new version of the Terms is published on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the Application after the amended Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.
These Terms are governed by Croatian law. We will endeavour to resolve disputes amicably; otherwise, the competent court in Zagreb has jurisdiction.
